Because Japanese swords are subjects of control under Firearm and Swords Possession Control Law in Japan, all sword blades leaving Japan must be de-registered by the Agency of Cultural Affair. This de-registration process takes approximately two weeks. Nishijin Sword does this complex legal procedure for you once your order is officially processed.
Some countries prohibit the Japanese sword to be imported. Please contact authorities concerned whether you are allowed to import the Japanese sword to your country prior to placing your order.
