Kotetsu Koshirae Iaito pays homage to the swordsmith by the same name, Nagasone Kotetsu Okisato. His swords are considered by most experts to have had the strongest blades. They were capable of cutting through an armored opponent with a single cut. At the same time his designs are marked by a profound religious symbolism, that is, the Hamon maintains his liking for representing the prayer beads of a Buddhist monk.
A blackened copper Fuchi/Kashira/Kojiri and a blackened iron Tsuba features
