Kotetsu Koshirae Iaito pays homage to the swordsmith by the same name, Nagasone Kotetsu Okisato. His swords are considered by most experts to have had the strongest blades. They were capable of cutting through an armored opponent with a single cut. At the same time his designs are marked by a profound religious symbolism, that is, the Hamon maintains his liking for representing the prayer beads of a Buddhist monk.

A blackened copper Fuchi/Kashira/Kojiri and a blackened iron Tsuba features Kin Zogan. The cotton Tsuka is securely wrapped over genuine sharkskin.

Weighes approximately 880 gram without the Saya.

Each Iaito sword from Nishijin Sword features a flex resistant and well-balanced blade made of zinc/belylium alloy, which, as the result, can provides the breathtaking feeling as much as you could get with the Shinken practice.

Proudly hand-crafted by Japanese swordsmiths in Japan. Because each of your order is made to order, please allow three to four weeks for the production.

Nishijin Sword Price: $558.00
