Miyamoto Musashi needs no further introduction as the master swordsman
and a founder of his original Niten Ichiryu school in early Edo era. His
remarkable record shows that he was undefeated in over 60 years of sword
duels, including the match with Sasaki Kojiro at the Ganryu islands. Kazusanosuke
Kaneshige sword is said to be his favorite and this Musashi Koshirae was
designed and made according to it. The cotton Tsuka is securely wrapped
over the genuine sharkskin. A set of silver-plated Fuchigane, Tsukagashira,
Kurigata and Saya O-jiri is nicely featured.
